Flood Boogie

I made this pedal for Aaron Travis from Evansville, Ind. The circuit is the Dr. Boogie, which is a jfet emulation of a Mesa Boogie dual rectifier distortion channel. The pedal has controls for Gain, Presence, Master volume, Bass, Treble, and Mid range eq. It has four 4 gain stages and an output buffer stage.

Aaron wanted to use a historical image from his town, the Ohio River Flood of 1937, when waters levels in Evansville reached 54 feet, and martial law was declared. The picture is a view down 8th St. taken from Main St. I painted the pedal in Almond White to give it an aged look. I used black 1590 knobs and a water clear blue LED.
